Stevenage primary school - Help

I have recently moved to Bragbury End in Stevenage and will have to apply for primary school for DD1. There does not seem to be any school that is really walking distance from the house so I will have to drive which is a shame . Any recommendations on primary schools? Does anyone live this way and have a child get in to Knebworth primary? Thanks

From the experience of friends who live there, Stevenage seem to just allocate you the closest school with spaces. You should be able to find out which school you are in catchment for (Longmeadow, maybe?) if you look online or give them a ring. Aston is a lovely school which you might be on the edge of, depending on where exactly you live.
