Settings and level correlations

I've asked about setting in classes before but just wondering about a few correlations and if they exist? For example foes or shouldreading level necessarily relate to literacy setting or time-table levels to maths?

For my Son they don't seem to correlate at all.

I don't have any direct experience, but don't think they should necessarily be the same. Reading is just once small part of literacy. Some children may be excellent at decoding and reading words but have difficulties with comprehension, or with spelling and grammar. Likewise, times tables are only one small part of maths. Same old advice as always though - raise it with the teacher if you are concerned or unsure.

They don't correlate in my sons school for the reasons pp said. Literacy has comprehension, imagination, handwriting etc.
