Moving areas

Hope I'm posting in right place!!
We are due to move to the other end of the country in July 2019 due to family circumstances. DH and I are both happy and excited about the move, much better area for the DDs to grow up, we will be able to afford to buy a house which we would never be able to here (London).
My worry is that DD1 will be due to start reception September 2019.
How would we go about getting her into a school when we won't be living in the area until July? All of my family live in the area if that makes a difference? I know it's a while away but I'm concerned already

I should add I already have a job lined up for when we move and DH will become SAHP so no childcare issues

You would need to make a late application as soon as you have an address. You can apply from where you are now, but the local authority would have no obligation to you until you moved.

DH could move earlier with the DDs but there's no way I can move any earlier due to training I need for the new job when I do move. We will be staying with my parents at first, do you think we could make an application from their address?

We've moved like this and schools should be able to accept your DC based on proof of an address that you will be moving into. Presumably you'll have an address at least a month before you actually move?

Yes, I would talk to schools you might be interested in and they should be able to accept your DC (or not) based on your parent's address.
