DS1's teacher is a dragon ... anyone else?

Seriously - they've all got into the Chinese new year thing, big time, and he keeps proudly telling me that Mrs MainTeacher is a dragon!

I'm sure she's giggling away to herself telling them that - as it's a reception class, a good part of her job is the lion taming thing ...

Is there no year of the cat?

DH brought back from SF a book about a pig, for year of the pig (largely because DS2 is pig-obsessed). Which probably doesn't help.

The cat came 13th across the river and therefore didn't get a year (I interpreted an assembly about it the other day, learnt allsorts )

The Rabbit (aka Hare) is also known as the Cat - in Western versions anyway (I am a rabbit/cat/hare so I know )

DH and DS1 are dragons. V lucky sign!

I think DS2 would like to be a pig. He really loves pigs. (I am a rooster, DH is a tiger, DS1 is a snake, DS2 is a monkey.)
