They were posting them today so hopefully we'll find out tomorrow but it may be Friday, depending on the post ....

All the letters go out at once so if you don't receive yours, then it's the post at fault and for no other reason . Good luck

Wanted to say to not be too disappointed if you end up on a waiting list. One of my DS did and is now absolutely thriving at KCJS.

If it's a 'no' do ask for feedback and if it's good have another go next year. People do apply again and get in - and their boys thrive.

And do remember the standards are really high. If you get a 'no' it's because there are lots of very able boys out there - your little one may have just missed out by a single mark.

I followed a similar thread last year and people were actually getting calls from the headmaster too! Good luck to all.

What are the chance to get a place?

SwMum30, my son got a place through the reserve list two years so certainly there is a chance. If it's your first choice, I would send an email to the headmaster's secretary to let the headmaster know that that is the case. It means your son is the right academic level for Kings and you should definitely try again at 8+.

Reviving for 2018

Results should be in the post by now for delivery tomorrow. Anybody else waiting?

SPJ and WUS results were out so quickly. Waiting for kings is stressfuling.

Got the big envelope!! Running to the City now to open it with my spouse.

Well the wait is not over for me. He ended up on the reserve list. I have no idea how long is this list though and if he stands a chance :-(
