Much rarer than for senior schools, as potential is much harder to judge at at that age, over just kids who have experienced more.

Some schools do give scholarships at 7+ and 8+ entry you would need to check with the individual schools.
Bursaries are more common.

Also be aware that now days scholarships tend to have very little or no value. Yes they are often combined with bursaries which are reviewed annually.

It is both uncommon and extremely possible!

It completely depends on the wealth, ethos and entrance criteria of individual schools so you would need to read carefully through the websites of every relevant school.

As pp have said, scholarships now are often the gateway to being awarded a bursary - which could be up to 100% of the fees.

So, if it's something you're seriously interested in you need to do a lot of research, visit the schools, establish whether your daughter is exactly the child they are looking for. (And this is entirely a matter of serendipity. At this age there are unlikely to be more than one or two such awards available per school - it is simply a question of how much they want your child.)

It's worth pointing out that the wisest and most progressive schools are falling over themselves to broaden their intake - if they are serious about this the application procedure and bursary information will be prominent in their literature.
