Tuition in Primary School

Those who have done out of school tuition in primary school - did you do this as ongoing or just for a certain period of time eg: SATs?

We did it from year 2 onwards, dd is now yr 7. We didn't do it for a school place, dd was struggling and it has helped her to keep up

We are doing it for 11+ exams only.
