Hi
Looking to move here but want to move near to school that would best suit son. I will visit but as there as so many could anyone give me an idea of one that may be:-
Better suited to slightly shy, sensitive but able and active boy
Preferably one that has outdoor field or outdoor learning
Nurturing, caring feel

Thank you!!

Hi what year is your son? Do you know which area you might move to? Many primaries in TW are terribly over subscribed so your address will be key

Haven't moved yet. Not due to start till 2018 so have time. Hence trying to work out which school first, then house....
Is St Johns, Southborough, St Barnabus or St James at all like I describe? Heard not great stuff about st Matthew. Basically think houses in villages great but tiny gardens and no chance for st p or Claremont. Need to be walking to either of stations so narrowed down to the above.
Any chance of getting into Langton Green from anywhere in TW?
Thank you!!

Hiya. Ah yes you have plenty of time so that's good Smile if you look at the guide to primary school places here: www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-children/schools/school-places/primary-school-places#tab-2

It tells you last distance offered this year which is really handy. All the schools you have mentioned are good (st barnabas perhaps the least so) but I don't know about nurturing feels etc I guess you would need ti visit to get a view of that. the truth is there are very few bad primaries in TW so i wouldn't worry too much Smile

Ok thanks that's good to hear x

I've heard very good things about The Wells School, it's a free school which was started a few years ago. It doesn't have much outside space and the catchment is small but it's near train stations and town, probably worth a look.

Having said that All the decent primaries in TW are oversubscribed, you may find your choice is limited or non existent. For most people it's a case of putting down as many choices as you can and crossing your fingers you'll get one of them.
