How many calories do your children eat daily?

DS (17) eats 4000 calories roughly each day but plays football and is 5ft 9 and 12.5 stone. (Healthy weight
DD (14) has an eating disorder and is 6 stone 6/7 pounds and is 5ft 4.. which is underweight :(. She has to eat 3500 calories a day as she needs to gain a stone to a stone and a half.
DS is 5 and 3ft 9 and weighs 3 stone 4 pounds, he eats 2000 calories a day but seems to have a very high metabolism? He seems underweight to me but I don't think he is according to the doctor, my friends tell me I feed him far to much?
DD is 4, 3ft 6 and 3 stone 12 pounds (not sure if she's overweight but seems a little chubby to me.) she eats 1400/1500 calories a day.
Do I feed my youngest two children to much?
Please share your child's age and height and daily calorie intake!:)
Thanks!

I have three dc and no idea what their calorific intake is. How are you monitoring how many calories they are consuming?

I speak as someone with a life long eating disorder but I find it profoundly unsettling that you are calorie counting for healthy children. I understand why you need to monitor your anorexic daughter. I wish her well and a speedy recovery.

I don't really look at there calories but since DD has become ill I find the need to check they are eating enough and stay good healthy weights. Thanks for your kind words. I don't check every meal but I keep track of the youngest twos weights as I want to make sure they are gaining weight like they should. :)

I don't check the calories but I have a rough idea of what they're consuming just by the dinners I give them x

Isn't it way too much? Quick google says:

Estimated Calorie Requirements:
Child 2-3:1,000
Female 4-8: 1200, 9-13 :1600, 14-18 :1800, 19-30: 2000, 31-50:1800, 51+:1600
Male 4-8:1400, 9-13:1800, 14-18:2200, 19-30:2400, 31-50:2200, 51+:2000

irvineoneohone It depends on activity level.

expensive to feed, aren't they?
17yo DS eats about the same as me, so maybe 2200 kcal/day.
15yo DD eats less.
younger DSs eat less again.

DH does things like cycle 60 miles so probably 3000 kcal/day.

You do know that you can do a bmi calculation online, don't you?
My son's calories probably vary day to day as sometimes he eats very little and some times a lot.
