Hi guys,

My DD has come home with a Biff, Chip & Kipper book (PS she is in reception), called 'Starting School' - has anyone seen this book before?

I'm trying to find out what reading level on the ORT it is, does anyone know?

Thanks!

The level is usually on the back of the book.

I assume 1 or 1+ from description

I believe it's not a levelled book, but an attempt to cash in on the name recognition for a starting school book.

There is a yellow sticka?? Confused

Also, does this mean that she isn't at expexted standard - cause it's not even on the ORT spectrum?

Some schools may not give out books for your child to read yet. Ours only started before half term and only just got books with words connected yesterday and only then phrases like 'dad is sad'

thanks tomorrowillbeachicken - I always get worried about my sweet little dd (Migueli) Grin Halo

Tomorrowillbeachicken · 15/11/2016 15:33

Don't worry. She'll get there and tbh they all even out in terms of reading skills in the end anyhow.

Fanx bruvah - Migelli's got vomit on her sweater already, mom's sphagetti
