Delighted that they've dropped the absolutely awful Y7 SATs resit proposal.

Yes. Dropping that in favour of catch up support is much more helpful.

The adjustment to writing moderation is a huge step forward. Still don't think that's going to deal with the other issues with writing moderation.

Delighted to see about dropping resits for yr7s - adjusting to a new school is hard enough without having to worry about that sort of thing on top.

Thanks- yes I have seen that one. It specifically mentions they are publishing something today- I guess we wait to see what that is.

Does this mean the tables test for Y6 is out too?

It was announced in the summer that times table tests would be postponed for a year

Excellent the year 7 resit was a stupid idea for a variety of reasons.
