I went to school at Ranby many, many years ago - and an old school friend sends her kids there. Its a lovely school. There should be a PTA of sorts there from memory so maybe ask to be put in touch with them?

Hello willsmummy1978

My name is Emma and I am a current parent at Ranby and I'm also part of the parent group there.
I remember joining as a new parent and how daunting it can be but it really is a very friendly school, not only for the children but parent's too.
The parents group organise regular coffee mornings and social events such as a Christmas lunch and fair, quizzes and our next event - a race night.
The school also has new parent socials where you can meet all the other new parents as well as the teaching team.

When will you be relocating ?

I have 2 kids there but am a relatively new Ranby mum. I work full-time so don't have masses of interaction with the other parents but any I have had have been positive. Both my kids are really happy at Ranby and I'm sure yours will be too. Good luck with the move.
