Moving to London - the school report

Hi I am looking to move from overseas to London and seeking admission for my six year old son in one of the private schools in Year 3 starting in 2017. I've written to some schools and have heard the school report is requried. I've no idea what kind of report it is. Are there details of any curriculum, study certification or something else?
Thanks

Is your son currently attending school/pre-school/nursery etc.? I imagine they just mean the school report your son's current school provides to the parents at the end of each term/year.

Yes, its just a report from the setting they're currently attending, its not a copy of their school report, but usually a letter from the school they're moving from.
We had one from my son's previous school when moving out of London to Bucks.
