Dd2 starting reception, dd1 in yr1, have I forgotten anything?

Ok so due to reasons, dd1 started reception late last year, we were totally unorganised to the point where her uniform wasn't even labeled
I finally got my act together towards the end of last year, but I really don't want a repeat of last year!

So I have uniform all labeled with their names, new lunch boxes and water bottles all labeled, book bags, backpacks with spare uniforms (they are both occasional wetters, we are under the bladder and bowel nurse for this) PE kits all ready to go.
They don't need stationary or anything like that, but I just feel....too organised! I feel too comfortable like there is something that is going to jump up and smack me in the face saying you fool! You forgot x y and z!!
So what is it? What have I not done????

Paperwork? We had a bunch of forms and an "about me" booklet for DD to draw pictures in starting reception.
My main thing is making sure i get the right children to the right classroom at the right time. DD has weird settling in sessions and DS is in a different block. And I have to remember not to be out for the home visit!

Yes we have shoes....although that's a good point, dd1 has got the shoes I bought 3 weeks before the end of term, I need to make sure they fit!
All paperwork has been done and handed in, but what's this about a home visit? Are they going to randomly pop by and visit? I need to get tidying if so!!

Plimsolls and labelling the spare clothes for forest school are the last things on my list.

You sound very organised to me. Do they have winter/waterproof coats that fit and wellies? I suddenly remembered yesterday that dd2 needs to have a pair of wellies to keep in school which started me thinking about winter stuff and I realised they need new coats, hats and gloves. Hopefully we won't need them for a while but I'm going back to work in September so I'm thinking ahead.

Yes to coats and daps, the girls are so close in age all of their clothes have an initial in them anyway so they can tell them apart and if they need clothes for forest school I'll sort it out then (the school have a forest attached but so far haven't used it, new head wants to start forest school but we've had no details yet)
Hats and gloves all fit, but do need to be labeled thanks for the reminder :) its the sort of think that only gets thought about on the say it's needed isn't it!!

It's fine! You really don't need to stress so long as they have clothes, bags and lunchboxes.

They won't need everything right away anyway. It always seems to take a few weeks for gym and such to get started. Remember it will be a lot of parents first times so they won't expect everything to be sorted on day 1.

Ha ha no I'm sure they'd have told you if they were going to do home visits.
