We bought her a watch as a going to school pressie which might have been very stupid. She is very attached to it.

I am now thinking she won't be able to wear it. The pamphlet we have says no jewelry. I could leave it off on PE days (whenever they turn out to be)

Or shouldn't she wear it at all?

Would you get a 'school' watch that's waterproof and fairly indestructible, and not a biggie if it gets lost? DD1 has one like that, I think it was £20 in the shops (but cheaper from Amazon) and its elastic (so easy on and off), waterproof and not too precious. School seem fine with it. Only place it's banned is ballet.

How precious is it? If it is likely to get ruined and her to be upset don't let her wear it. If it's just the on/off, other kids bit I'd let her wear it and see what happens.

Ours are allowed but our school,is chilled about all these things. I'd worry about it getting lost tho
