supply teachers in year 2 class

i don't know if anyone can help or advise.I am sending this message as aparent of a 6 year old whose teacher is often away. This means that my daughter has frequently had 3 or 4 different teachers in one week. this has been going on since the beginning of the academic year.
As parents we have raised the issue with the head teacher who seems to think the situation is acceptable. we had an incident last week where one of the supply teachers called a child an idiot and the other children to talk to the hand. The head says the CT is away ill or helping plan the primary strategy.
My concern is the continuity in teaching..at this age it is so important for children to have the same teacher emotionally and for their learning.
I am a CT of a year 5 class at another school and do not really want to share this with my colleagues.
I recently called the school to ask if the CT was in that day..I was told by the head teaher ..if you don't like the school maybe you should find another one.
I feel as though we are just not being listened to.
Any advice about how to handle this would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I would speak to one of the parent governors (sp?). Or the head of governors, if you write a letter to him/her they have to read it out at meeting.
And can I just say at the reply of the head .
