sorry... another SATS related question (KS1)

After reading numerous threads on the subject, I received DD's report last week, with no SATS results in. And from you lovely folk, realised this was ok and that I am entitled to ask for them.

Which I did, and DP was handed a post-it with her scores on yesterday.

I had scores for maths and reading..... but I was expecting one for SPAG as well? Am I correct?

Thanks,

Hmm, apparently they won't give them to us.

Not much point they are based on a different curriculum with different expectations

Was that to me mrz? Sorry was not clear, I was talking about scores. I agree with you about past papers, there is only the one proper sample paper anyway, and Y2 don't need to be wasting their time practicing for tests when they could be learning.

No think there was a delay on my post

I don't agree with doing lots of past papers are waste of time if you want just to prepare for the test, since curriculum has changed, but if you think about it as an exercise, it's not totally pointless, imo. Every work children do counts, I think.

Sorry it doesn't make sense. I don't disagree it's waste of time...

More useful to do work relating to the current curriculum if you think it's needed
