Voucher for teacher

I'm sure this has been done to death, but am just wondering is a £5 book voucher too little for a reception class teacher for an end of term thankyou gift? DD's class has four teachers/teaching assistants and I want to give them all a little something as a token of thanks (we will make a card too). Anything more than £5 each starts to get a bit expensive!

I think it sounds fine DDs teachers will get a cake to share, the school secretary got a Costa voucher because she's lovely and the headmaster gets a thank you card

I just had a thread where I was asking if a £2 mini box of chocolates looked mean (DH bought it) and the overwhelming consensus was that any present was fine, and usually gratefully received, and a nice card with a heartfelt message was even better along with it.

I would rather that than a bottle of wine (i don't drink), a box of chocolates (I am diabetic and eat no carbs), novelty teacher gifts (they generally get binned), flowers (as I usually go on holiday the first day of the holidays so never get to enjoy them). Hubby gets to enjoy wine and chocolates if I get them.

An Amazon voucher would be ideal for me as I buy books for my kindle for holidays.

It's lovely but I'd get a Costa voucher or similar. £5 in a coffee shop means you can actually get a free drink and cake. £5 for a bookshop would have to be topped up to actually buy a book, unless you just buy a notepad or something.

PS. I am a teacher

I would love it. Teachers and TAs often don't read novels during term time so to be able to buy a paperback or money off a book would be lovely.
