DfE confirm today: no Y6 times tables tests or Y7 resits in the 2016/17 academic year at least.

They weren't ever going to start until Dec 2017 anyway, although when I read that announcement it did sound like a postponement! Spin - already.

'New' interim frameworks though.

Probably not a good sign they had to make the first correction 6 hrs after they posted it is it?

Aren' t they exactly the same - right down to same error as last year with reference to common exception words?
Doesn't fill one with confidence ...

I don't think they did say it was new. I don't think most people were expecting the same thing though.

I wonder how long you can have an 'interim' assessment framework for before you have to come up with the actual one.
