Residential Trip with arm in cast?

DS has broken his wrist. It's not a bad break but he has a cast and will have for 4-6 weeks.

He is due to go on a 2 night trip to an outdoor activity place with the rest of year 5 in less than a fortnight.

Are they likely to take him? I know he won't be able to join in all of the activities but are they going to refuse him altogether? He'll be devastated. They sleep in rooms of 3 and it's been arranged for months :-(

I've known many children go to these sorts of things with broken wrists and often participate in most of the activities, obviously it will be down to the centre and school but I wouldn't be too concerned.
