Im looking at 7+ for bancrofts and forest school for my DD. I have been advised to use the Bond and Letts non verbal reasoning books. Please can anyone advise further and at which age band should I be aiming? As in the books are 6-7, 7-8, 8-9 ....etc.

Never done it but the advice usually given on here is they need to be working at 8-9 as a minimum if it is a competitive 7+ being sat

Been through this but not for those 2 schools. Recommend 7-8 age group. You'll need to supplement Bond books with story writing practice. Best to do is find out format of the tests, since each school differs a little so make sure you prepare specifically for the format they use... stories can be from pictures, continuations etc.
