When do schools get KS2 SATs results?

DS says that his teacher told him his SATs results today, but I didn't think the schools received them until 5th July. Do you think she is basing this on her own assessments or have schools got the results already? TIA

You are correct schools won't know until next month ...it could be TA

"STA will publish test results on the NCA tools website on 5 July 2016. Each pupil registered for the tests will receive:

a raw score (the number of marks awarded)
a scaled score
and confirmation of whether or not they attained the expected standard"

Will we have to go online to get their results then? Or is that where the teachers get them from and then pass them to us?

Teachers go online and then will report the scores to you, usually within the report. There is usually a bit of time for appeal etc

We've always had exam results in end of year reports until GCSEs

What does a scaled score mean?

Our end of term reports are out before the 5th July notbig

The raw score is converted to a scale score with 100 being the expected mark.
