Tell me about Bexley schools

Please could someone recommend good schools in the Barnehurst area. We moved recently so don't have many contacts in the area to provide a honest opinion.DS is 1.5 only but I'm generally trying to get a feel of good schools to decide if prep school might be of advantage? We live quite close to Bursted Wood school.does anyone have an opinion on state schools in the area or if prep schools are better? Thanks for your replies

Your original message is quite open. Also, things will change massively in the 3/4 years until your child starts school. An outstanding school now may well be failing by then or vice versa.
There are some fab prep schools in the area. There are also some fab state schools. You need to decide if you want to go state or private, then go from there.
