Gift for a Reading Buddy

Hi, my DD is in Foundation and was assigned a Year 6 reading buddy. She really likes her and is upset she'll be leaving in the summer. DD has suggested we get her a little present but as I don't know her myself I'm at a loss as to what to get her. Any suggestions please are very welcome !

Fun stationery/notebook? Glittery pens? Chocolates? Hair accessories?

We got dd's year six buddy a jellycat donkey. She absolutely loved it and it was nice as it was more along the lines of something that dd would have chosen for her.

Mine got their buddies academic year diarys to use in secondary school. Decorated the covers with pictures and stickers.
