Accepting a waiting list place

Me again. I think I'll move in over here.

Does anybody know, if you accept a place from a waiting list, do you then lose your place on all other lists? Or do you still remain on the waiting lists of schools that were higher in your preferences?

Thanks Smile

You don't lose your place on other lists but best to ask them to leave you on.

What would happen if 2 waiting list places came up at the same time? I am going on holiday for 2 weeks soon, what would happen if I got to the top of 2 lists? (Very slim chance but you never know)

In my county you'd get offered your highest preference of the two.
