Primary/Secondary Schools in Epsom - 2016

Considering moving to Epsom and will be applying for my little girl to start primary school Sept 2017. Just wondering what the options are like?
Also, people keep telling me that there's less difference between primary schools and I should also look at secondary (eeek!) - so thoughts there too would be much appreciated.

Realistically, they are all good! Epsom primary can be the subject of some snobbishness due to underperforming the nearest options and a more mixed catchment, but it's improving rapidly. Can be small effective catchments though so you would need to check distances allocated each year. Several have expanded recently due to growing numbers of children in the area; Stamford Green is taking a bulge this year, for example. Do you know roughly where you would be looking?

In terms of secondaries, you have (for a girl) Blenheim (mixed), Rosebery (girls), Epsom & Ewell high (mixed). The first two are excellent schools, Rosebery is the most popular choice for girls in my experience though. E&E not so much.

Rosebery is towards the south of the town and went out to 2.7km this year.

Thanks PatriciaHolm. Interestingly my OH has already said that he wouldn't want our daughter to go to an all girls school!
