Why oh WHY did I choose to apply via postal application??!!

Kicking myself now!! Does anyone know if there's any other way to find out the result? Apparently decisions cannot be discussed over the phone.

Well you could try calling the school you think you might have been allocated. They will have a list by tomorrow. My friend did this when the council allocated her two schools by mistake - she rang her preferred school and they said she was on their list of new entrants.

Ring the LA, they will tell you straight away. Good luck

I found out by phoning them, although she did say as far as she could see we were allocated 1st preference, I'll have to wait for letter or email for total confirmation.

I applied online but to a different LA then moved so can't look up online.
