Does your dc school take electronic payments?

Eg parent pay for school trips, school dinners etc? Or even just direct debit?
Any pros and cons? I would love to be able to pay for school dinners online and not have to faff about with slips of paper and cash or cheque.
Views from school staff also welcome.

No. Apparently the number of parents without internet makes it not viable - it's only dinners three times a year for nursery and Y3-6, plus maybe £5 a couple times a year. Secondary would be different.

We are v small infant school (under 50 children in school) and use scopay - for trips, uniform (the logo stuff) etc. The two ladies who look after the office/reception manage it
No idea how much it costs the school but if it's cost effective for a tiny school like ours I would assume it must be at least 'reasonable'
MUCH easier than faffing around with cash in envelopes for sure (school not totally cashless as some parents still prefer to pay cash - but we are encouraged to pay online)
