Prep schools in/close to Epsom...

We are hoping to move from SW London to Surrey and currently thinking of the Epsom area.

Looking for a good co-ed prep for DS (3) that does the common entrance route and can feed to the good public schools.

Any recommendations?

Downsend, St Christopher's ( only until yr2), Kingswood House.

Check out the open days and have a look at them. Downsend has pre-preps from tiny!

Priory Banstead, Aberdour. Epsom College now have an 11+ intake if that influences your options.

St John's in Leatherhead has their 1st 11+ intake this year as well.

Thanks so much - I will start to look into these now...

Bombaybunty - Do you happen to know if there's a natural progression from St Christopher's to somewhere in particular?

My DS went to Downsend. Lots of ex St Chriistopher's children were there.
Quite a few go to City of London Freeman's if they pass the 7+ test.

There's also Daneshill but that's further from Epsom.

dd2 and ds went to [[http://www.kingswoodhouse.org/ Kingswood house}} I can't praise the school enough. Even now 9 years after we have moved from the area it is the school I measure schools on.
