Project needed that can be done in one afternoon because not enough time to, eg let mould grow or whatever. What is presented must have a model and a poster and include results in a graph or similar.
We actually all love this kind of stuff and have done many experiments at home and we have lots of 'Kids Science' books, but I just can't think of something good to do. I may be overthinking Smile.

I don't know if it could be of any help, but have a look.

Design a weather station, e.g rainfall collection or something?

Grelton · 23/02/2016 18:46

Thanks for the first link irvine, I have found several science sites but not that one. Bracken, that would be interesting but it needs a longer timescale.

Build a catapult out of paper and measure how far each one can launch a marble?

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 23/02/2016 20:32

Yes something like Patricia's idea. Do you have HotWheels track? Maybe set up a track with different initial heights of drop, see how far the car goes, and then stick pennies on the top of the car with tape to see what difference the extra weight makes.
