Thinking that DS' school reading book looked quite old fashioned, I checked the date of publication/printing. It was printed in 1972, it's older than me! He's quite fascinated by it.

What is the title?

It's not a Rainbow running along book is it? Or one about Pirates like Roderick the Red ,Carry on Reading or little nippers !!
Far superior to Biff and Chip !!

It's called Whirling Windmills and is by Althea Braithwaite, part of the Colourmaster Junior Series.
