New headmaster = Ofsted?

Hi,

If a school has a new headmaster would it be re- inspected by Ofsted? The school in question had an Ofsted report in the last year (which was good). I was just wondering if a new headmaster would autmoatically prompt another Ofsted visit or whether the next visit would happen in the normal schedule.

Thanks!

No, new head teacher does not trigger ofsted.

I think an ofsted would only be triggered if the results started to plummet or possibly if there are a lot of bad reviews on parent view.

No it doesn't trigger one. Ofsted are already running behind schedule so I wouldn't expect another inspection for a while.
