Yippeeee DD has got into our 1st preference school and it's out of catchment

SOOOOOOOO chuffed, just received the letter this morning. Really didn't think DD would get in as it is the best and most popular school in the area and usually well over-subscribed. We are quite far out of catchment so was expecting our second choice to be the one, but she has got in to the first choice!!!

Yipppeeee (I know it is a bit sad to be so excited, but I can't help it)

Aaah congrats, its a relief I bet.

we won't find out til march if dd1 will get into her 1st choice. But I'm not hopeful as its over subscribed and no one that lives as far away ass us has ever got in

I wondered if anyone else was lucky enough to find out so soon. What a relief for you.

We got our letter today. It was more a formality because we have opted for the school 5 minutes away. It's still a relief to have confirmation - I was worried our application was lost in the post
