I was just looking at my sons school report. On it it has "current age in months" as 60 months which is 5 years old. His current age isnt 60m old its 56 months.

Do you think I should check with the school or do you think it's a mistake.

I would just pop in and check, mistakes can be made. I once spent a whole year teaching a boy who I thought was 7 when he was actually 6 as they year was wrong on his records! It wasn't until he moved on to a different school that we found out he had been put in the wrong age group!! ( Thankfully it was a mixed age class so it made little difference!)

Check it. My DD's was wrong and it only came out when she was given the school birthday on the wrong week.

I think the EYFS framework assessments refer to children in months. Is it possible that this is where they have assessed him for the baseline assessment as opposed to his actual age? But I would query it with them.
