If you do a class party one year do you have to do it every year?

In recrption I told dd she could invite a few friends to soft play for her birthday. She went to alot of class parties after this (November birthday) so this year in year one I have booked a class party. She also wanted to invite some friends from the class next door but I had to say no as it would of been too many people :( do people have class parties every year? Or can you have one once and then go back to small parties? I didn't realise how much the cost is adding up, I can't afford this every year! But would feel bad if people wondered why they were not invited next year. I wish I had stuck to a small party!

No you will be fine.

Parties get smaller and usually end up only girls or only boys as they get older and eventually are more the invite 2 friends to the cinema variety.

I agree with Dixie. As dc get a bit older, the numbers of guests / the size of the party decreases.

Definitely Not!
Tend to die off after y1.
