Just curious really. Had a message todat that they are making DVDs of the school nativity next week. They will cost £16.50.

Sounds rather expensive to me! Or is this the going rate?

Have ordered one - for great grandparents to see as they can't make it, as too old/ill, but would have liked to.

It is a private school Hula - they'll fleece you. Mine was £15 last year, haven't seen this year's form yet.

£10

Our school doesn't do anything like that either All cameras / camcorders are strictly banned. And they only give out 2 tickets PER family. So grandparents / other family members never get to see the play in any form. Which is a real shame. I'd gladly fork out £16.50 for a DVD of my DD's play, even though it does seem a bit steep!

My dad put my pupil concert on DVD for anyone who bought his a blank DVD.

Ds paid $25 for his first music concert (around 8 quid).

I bought one and then copied it - I reckon that's why they charge so much - because they know they will only get one sale per family.

Yes, at £16.50 we are only buying one copy. If it was less than £10 we may have bought a couple - one to give to great grandparents and one for DD's memory box. A copy will go int he memory box now!

£17.99 for us . Well, it would be if the professional camera man's camera hadn't broken. Luckily one of the mum's lent him her camcorder and we are apparently going to get it free of charge.
