Place value interview activity

I have been shortlisted for a TA position in KS2. As part of the interview I have been asked to "plan and deliver a 20 minutes adult led activity to teach the following objective: Recognise the place value of eac digit in a four digit number.
The activity will be with a group of 6 mixed ability children.
Any ideas as I am stuck as not really worked in ks2 .
