I have posted this in 'Parenting' too but wondered if I might get more of a response here at this time of year...
I read a post/blog AGES ago about a mum who used to tell her children a story at the beginning of every school year.
It was about a classmate who had no friends and was intended to encourage her children to be kind to the lonely ones.
I thought it was a lovely idea but at the time school days for my dc seemed light-years away. But dd1 is about to start reception and I'll be damned if I can remember where I read this story.
Any ideas?
