Any views on this school? We have been offered it or reception however we are nearly 10 miles away from it.
Ofsted is poor and there's a traveller site right beside it, views would be grey thanks as feeling very confused.

There is another thread at the moment where someone who has moved to Redhill has been allocated this school but will struggle to get there. You may want to read that. All I know is that the village is lovely, and from the outside the school looks great, nice facilities. The travellers park is not right next door. The school is between residential housing on one side and a sports club on the other with facilities to play football, hockey, lacrosse and rugby. Your best bet is to go for a visit when the school reopens.

I will try and find that thread, I've only joined this site today.
It just seemed very close when we drive past it!

Just remember if there is a large transient traveller population it will skew the ofsted as regards attainment as they are in and out of education poor things. You need to drill down the stats to try to get value added that's likely to apply to,your child - starting at reception and staying out till year 6

Not sure at present but in the past when my dd's friends went there until 6 years ago it was very good and caring school.

Thanks Helen that's very helpful and that's what I've been attempting to do although finding that difficult.
It just shocked me driving past the site and then being on the school grounds within 1 minute! However it's also just past lower kingswood so hard to tell what schools would be like as quite mixed

A friend got allocated this and went until they moved house. I'm pretty sure none of the traveller children go there as they all go to a catholic primary a couple of miles away.
