My son is 5 and is about to start year 1 in a private, non-selective school. We would like him to sit the 7+ for Eltham College in January 2017. I am now wondering whether preparation for this should include private tuition. He is very bright (although I would say that, wouldn't I? ;-)), is a free-reader and has been in the top sets for all areas throughout Reception. Does anyone have any experience of applying to Eltham College? Is a tutor necessary? If so, could anyone recommend one? We are in the Chislehurst area...
