Hello Mums, I am thinking to move to croydon. Any suggestions for good primary schools there so that I can look for residence accordingly. Please help.

Coulsdon (in the borough of Croydon, south of Croydon itself) has 4 primary schools. Woodcote Primary and Chipstead Valley are both Ofsted outstanding, and are expanding. There is also Smitham and ST Aidan's (Catholic) but not sure what their Ofsted rating is, but St Aidan's is highly sought after.

There is not many schools in East Croydon itself but park hill infants and juniors are very close to East Croydon and very oversubscribed so may find it hard finding a place there and is also a good school.

The ark oval is also just by the station was turns into an academy few years ago. Don't know much about the school other thsn much improvement since converting to an academy.

There is also St Mary's (Catholic) which again near the station and broadmead which is a bit further out it don't know much about either of those schools
