Year 3 teacher assessment levels

Please could someone explain these results for me?
Speaking/listening 3c
Literacy reading 3b
Writing 3b
Numeracy 2a
Science 3b

I've been online and I just can't work out what is average. Thanks so much if anyone can help!!

They are old national curriculum level. When we used them 3c was the "expected" level for end of Year 3, with progress of at least a sub-level since end of Key Stage 1.

Yes. However your school is using old curriculum levels to assess the new and different curriculum, which particularly in maths is more challenging. That might make the maths further behind.
