These seem to be the grading used and there is no key.

You need to ask the teacher there is no standard reporting system

Thanks.

I would be fairly confident that the boxes that were ticked meant she was doing pretty well but I don't actually KNOW that, and if I don't understand it, it seems like a bit of a waste of the teachers time in reporting it.

I know the school still uses the 'levels' of the recent past, but they haven't used them in reports (though I'm not bothered about that, I just wish I understood the system they HAVE used).

Well that's stupid!

What is Lougle?

How are you and your brood?

Giving you a report with an undefined grading system.

We're all ticking on, thank you. How about you?

Oh I see.

Yes, we're all good. DS is starting school again in September after a year of HE. Baby ds starting school nursery. DD probably doing fine (depending on what her school report actually MEANS of course).

DS' new placement is supposed to be an ABA unit attached to mainstream. All we once dreamed of, but HE has exceeded my expectations so now doubt any placement will be good enough, though have to give it a go if not just for some sleep.

I hope it works out Smile
