Just wondering if anyone minds sharing end of year 3 levels, I know a lot of schools no longer use levels, but some still use. tia Smile

DD got 4C reading
3A - Science, Maths and writing.

You?

DD's school is still reporting them, she's in Y3.

She got:
Reading 4C
Writing 4C
Maths 3A
They haven't given a level for science.

No levels given at ds school just a report with exceeding expectations ticked and within expectations.

National expectation was 2a/3c for the end of Year 3.

Don't worry about what "MN children" are getting (only the top few % at my DC's school got Level 4s in Year 3, when the school used the levels).

If your school is still using levels, bearing in mind that the levels don't evaluate everything in the new curriculum, you'd expect her to be 1 or 2 sublevels up from her KS1 standard.

Even when levels were relevant, there was no 'national expectation' for Year 3. There were expectations for Year 2 and Year 6, and that was it.
