What form does the Y1 report take?

Hi there,

DD is about to finish Y1 and I'm just wondering if there is a standard format for a Y1 report (as there is in Reception regarding Emerging/Expected/Exceeded) or whether the schools all do their own version of a report?

TIA

The school my children are at they are using the year number then working below, within and exceeding.

I think this year is difficult at school as the government have changed how levels are reported so a lot of LA's and schools are still trying to work out how to report levels.

There isn't a standard report not even in reception.

What reports must cover
The report must start from the day after the last report was given. It must be available to parents before the end of the summer term.

The report must cover the pupil’s:

achievements
general progress
attendance record
In Y1 you will also get your child's Phonics Screening Check results

The SIMS report that is produced from the teachers gradings is only produced for Reception, Year 1 Phonics, Year 2 and Year 6. That's the only standard report as far as I know.
