Hi,
could you tell me more about Southfield Park Primary in Epsom? It's the closest school to us, but though it looked ok and its rating is 'outstanding', I noticed that as for the teaching bit is only 'good'. I did visit it and got the impression it's an ok school but on the ordinary side, not very creative. At the same time, all the schools I visited in Epsom are pretty much the same. I was hoping in a school with a more mixed pupils population, but the only one that is more multicultural, Epsom Primary, impressed me even less. Any insight? Thank you so much for your time!

I have met the head at Southfield Park and was impressed by her. Did you look at Meadow Primary? - a little bit more diverse (with the exception of Epsom Primary than some of the Epsom schools, but not particularly multi-cultural. Parents I know with children with additional needs tend to feel that their children are well supported there. They also have a number of year 6 pupils going to grammars in September so those who are academically able can do well there. It also often has spaces as it is located in the north of Epsom and Ewell next to another primary (Nonsuch - Sutton school) so has a surplus of spaces.
To be honest you'll probably need to look further afield than Epsom if you want multicultural.
