My husband and I are hoping to send our DS to Habs Boys pre-prep. As he was born in December 2014 I think this will be in September 2020. I just wondered if anyone on here had any ideas re.what to expect in terms of entry assessments and applicant/place ratios? In addition, as we are new to the area, can anyone recommend any good nurseries in the area that would take DS between 3-5? Many thanks!

would suggest you search for posts by "mumteacher" and read her 3+ 4+ 5+ 7+ support threads, I think there are 3 of them. everything you need to know is there. You might want to have a stiff drink to hand.....

There are 34 places for 5+ entry and there will be 300-400 applicants sitting so roughly 1:10 ratio. It us a fantastic school to aspire to but make sure you have a backup plan as most boys will not get in.

There is a 3+, 4+, 5+, 7+ thread worth looking at.
