Sorting Bullying

My 7 year old son has been bullied on and off (more on!) since he started school at the age of 5. Since he started year 3 this september it has become worse and much more persistant, I have been in to the school 4 times, once i saw his own teacher, then the other kid's teacher (it's the same kid all the time), then a teaching assistant and then back to the bully's teacher again yet it carries on.
My son has just come home in a right mood today after another day of it so I have phoned the school and made an apointment to see the head tomorow at 9am.

Any advice on what I should say? This is the final time I am prepared to sort this out, after this I will be taking him out of the school...I don't want to however as my youngest son is doing ok there...

What can I do to make them sort this out once and for all?

I recently has an incidence of bullying to deal with regarding my 8 year old ds. I went straight to the head and explained things and to his teacher.

It didn't stop straight away and I must confess that I just saw red. When I talked to them again I said that I entrusted my child totheir care each and everyday. I expected them to keep him safe and they were not doing so and I considered it to be a serious breach of their responsibliiteis to my child. Strangely enough they sprang into action.

I aso told my child that if he wanted to, seeing as how we had gone down all the legal routes that he should just deck the little sod. Now for him that made a huge difference to his self esteem and ability to cope. I know each child is different. Maybe should should look in to chanaging schools if you have no joy.
Good luck
