DS is coming on so well with his words and letters we are so proud of him

I want to make him some flash cards so I can help him at home with his letters.

Does anyone know which sort I should make? Any teachers any ideas?

TIA

Clary - I think DD enjoys them as they are a full story, rather than just one or two words pn a page.

The book has been great and she loved making it and then reading it. It was a fab holiday project to do together She wants to make a little book for he rbaby cousin ina similar vein, using more of her new words. Best get started soon!

Just thought of another game we play wtith DD using her new words. She actually started it off herslef last week. She found an old envelope and decided to play "postmen". On a piece of paper she used her school reading book (and also the list of words she has now learnt - I have written them in abook as she brings then home) to write a basic message - something like "I lime mummy" She put it in the envelope, knocked on kitchen door and slid it under the door for me.

I then wrote a simple message back, often asking her a question such as "can you jump"

This game lasted on and off almost all night, with the last message from me being "can you go to bed" and hers being "no" LOL

She find it great fun and it took little imput from me to join in - did it whilst cooking, etc.
