I'm planning on my son sitting the 7+ for Newland House. Does anyone have any personal experience of the assessment. I've read all the school comments...but interested to hear from anyone who's been through it!
My son is bright but definitely coasting at his current school where sadly reams of tedious worksheets seem to have overtaken any actual teaching..and he's in danger if disengaging :-( (hence looking to move him).
On an equally controversial note, do you know of any good tutors in this age group based in Teddington/Twickenham/Hampton area. I don't want him hothouses...but neither do I think it's fair to have him sit the assessment without the tools to try.
